Hi Friends, This is Umashankar. I have
experience of getting H1B Stamp from Mumbai Consulate of United States. My nearest US Consulate is Delhi, but I have plan to visit my friend to invite him on my wedding ceremony, so I went to Mumbai Consulate of United Stats on 15th Nov. 2010. I went to Window number 5, in-front of a lady officer. She even not seen my documents, of even my face. She reply me, she can cancel my visa. I was quite surprise and given her a pretty smile. I given her my document. She give me blue slip with asking few of document. (Here I would like to clear one think, that few of day back I landed in IGI airport from Washington DC with I-797 provided by USCIS of Vermont Service Center.) When I show my I-797 and TAX detail of last 3 years of my current employer (iTechUS) and my client documents. But yet she ask me to submit few of more documents. I receive that blue slip for 221g and went back to my home, collect all document and be back to Mumbai Consulate with document and submit all document. Again she given me white slip and asking me to wait for decision on my I-797. I was surprised, that is this consulate don't have trust on USCIS branch of Vermont, that they might made mistake to release my I-797. From that day to till time, I have been waiting for USCIS decision to release my H1B visa. USCIS screwed-up my feature. Yet am waiting for USCIS to release decision on my case. I had discussion with my current employer iTechUS, regarding my visa case. He reply me, that they can't help me, until USCIS ask him to do something. Even my employer is having number of project in hand and he ready to assign me, if and only if, USCIS release my status. At this time, I am working with HCL organization as Solution Architect. But I want my visa back and want to be back in United Stats. Can some one help me to get my visa back or guide me, what should I do, so I can be back in United Stats. Thanks Umashankar Adha Solution Architect HCL Infosys Ltd.

USCIS Post Decision Activity Process

Hi Guy's
I receive extension on Sept. 2010 for 1st H1B visa. USCIS successfully given me extension. In last of Nov. 2010 I plan to get married. So I plan to move India. My many friends suggest me to go Mexico, for visa stamping. but I trust on consulate of US in India. I moved to Mumbai consulate, on 12th of Nov. 2010. One lady consulate was there, who was ready to view my case. Even she didn't see my face and she told me that she can revoke my case.

I surprise, why she wants to do this. Even I didn't have any wrong stuff with my visa as well as, my previous history. 1st she given me 221g with blue slip and asked me to submit few of documents. At that time, I was having all required documents with me, and I asked to her to at-least see all my documents once, but she was not ready to listen me. And she told me, Please Get-out from here.

After 8 day's, I plan to came back to Mumbai consulate. She asked me to submit all documents and she told me that she need at-least 6 days to check all documents, as it was bunch of documents. Ok, I agreed with her. After 60 days I receive a mail, that Mumbai consulate sent my petition (I-129) to USCIS for review my extension.

I really don't understand, why Mumbai consulate wants to destroy my feature. As for my knowledge, US Consulates are working according to their rules but In my case I don't believe, that Mumbai consulate is working according to their rules. Now, According to
USCIS rules, Post Decision Activity process is taking 120 days for review all required documents, but in my case still, its going on & on & on..............there is no reply from USCIS.

If some one, from Whitehouse or from USCIS higher authority, is reading my blog than I would requesting him, Please bring me out of this pain. I have been looking this message since more then 150 days...
